Calling all Chi Omega alumnae from The State University of West Georgia!!! There is a rally among Greek alumni this year as the university plans to host its first all-Greek alumni social on Sat. , Oct. 12 at 7:00 PM. The event will be at the Alumni House (aka the old President's house.) Miller Brewing Co. is sponsoring the event, and will provide complimentary beverages. T-shirts will be available for $15. PLEASE come, Chi Omegas! The sorority/fraternity with the most alums attending gets a small monetary donation, and our chapter would be SO excited if we won!

The annual Homecoming parade will be on Maple Street at 10 AM Oct. 11, and the football game is at 2:30 that afternoon. There is also a golf tournament on Fri., 10/11 at 2 PM (see www.westga.edu/~alumni, and click on "Homecoming Golf Tourney.") See you there!!!

I hope at least one person who has viewed this is a Phi Kappa - and COMING!!

SUWG Homecoming was FABULOUS!! For all you Greek folks that came out - thanks for making our 1st annual Greek social such a HUGE success! I saw so many old friends, and made news ones too! We had approx. 75 Greek alumni attend the party at the Alumni House under this spectacular tent. (Thank goodness we were under it as it began raining 2 hours into the party.) Sigmna Nu won the highest fraternity attendance and Chi Omega
won for the sorority ($100 to the highest attendees!) This event is scheduled to be an annual event although the alumni association will not be able to pay for the postage for an annual newsletter. Be sure to check your Greek organization's web site and also Greek Chat of course!:D
