Regarding this Omega...
Pastor Bro. Gatlin Pastor Gatlin is a visionary with a desire to see the people of the Lord "prosper and be in health, as their souls prosper!" Receiving his formal training from Mississippi Valley State University and the University of Southwestern Louisiana he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. He earned the Master of Divinity at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Gatlin assumed the Pastorate of First Church in 1986. He serves as the District Superintendent of the Crowley District under the capable leadership of Bishop Roy L. H. Winbush, Louisiana First Jurisdiction. He is a motivational speaker conducting seminars, workshops and meetings on a national and international level. He is currently the Jurisdictional Dean of the United State Auxiliaries Convention and President of the Department of Education. He is the President of the Louisiana chapters of the C. H. Mason Bible College. http://www.firstcogic.com/pastor.html First off, didn't even know that he was an Omega man. Just serves to show that Omega does have quality individuals within its ranks. I've pretty much known, as we call him in COGIC, "Dean Gatlin" like for my entire life. My dad has just been ordained an elder (reverand) in the COGIC and Dean Gatlin was one of the few who stood at his ordination ceremony, much less instructed him in Bible college. Talk about six degrees of separation. Oh, BTW, he is married to one of Bishop Winbush's daughters (Missionary Vanessa Winbush Gatlin), so from time to time it is interesting to read these posts. Doggy, you should be proud of Dean Gatlin not only as a brother, but also as a spiritual counselor, because in this respective field, he is definitely what I would consider one of God's chosen to spiritually lead. |
I'm pleased!
Thanks for this exciting info, Doggy! I hope this thread continues to grow with updates about what the bruhs are doing!
