Minorities Rushing at UT
 

Hello, I am transfer student to UT and I want to rush but I'm feeling discouraged because I am a minority and I feel like there are very few minorities in sororities. Am I at a disadvantage because I am a minority? Also, how can I prepare for rush? I have rec letters and I looked up the philanthropies, but how can i make a great impression so that I get a bid?

Tennessee or Texas? Or some other UT?

In the Recruitment Forum on this site, there are excellent "stickied" threads which cover just about every aspect of recruitment (rush). That's where I'd start reading and learning. You're a little late to the party if you're rushing this coming Fall semester, is my concern. Get a wiggle on!

Do multicultural or D9 sororities not exist at UT?

It reads to me as if you're wondering why a minority individual would want NPC. That confuddles me.

Why not look out side of those and look into other opportunities? How about White Soros?

There is nothing wrong with that is there? I really do not like segregation.

You can easily research the answer to that question. So what exactly is it that you're getting at here?
