State U. of West Ga. Homecoming - All Greek Alumni Social
 

For all you SUWG Greek alumni, homecoming is going to be on Sat., 10/12/02. The day starts off with the typical 10am parade watch, and the Braves play at Grisham at 2:30. At 7:00 that night, there is a HUGE all-Greek alumni social at the Alumni House (aka the old Presidet's house.) Miller Brewing Company is sponsoring, and there will be complimnetary beverages served. No one UNDER 21 is admitted. The active fraternity/sorority with the most alumni attendance will receive a monetary donation. SO - hope all you SUWG Greeks come out and show your support for your oranization!

One more thing, lol!!!

Oct. 11th will be a Greeks and Friends "Shotgun" Golf Tournament at Oak Mountain Country Club. The fee is $80 ($10 for your designated Greek org. and $10 for UWG Alumni endowment fund).

SUWG Homecoming was FABULOUS!! For all you Greek folks that came out - thanks for making our 1st annual Greek social such a HUGE success! I saw so many old friends, and made news ones too! We had approx. 75 Greek alumni attend the party at the Alumni House under this spectacular tent. (Thank goodness we were under it as it began raining 2 hours into the party.) Sigmna Nu won the highest fraternity attendance and Chi Omega won for the sorority ($100 to the highest attendees!) This event is scheduled to be an annual event although the alumni association will not be able to pay for the postage for an annual newsletter. Be sure to check your Greek organization's web site and also Greek Chat of course!
