Roomie going thru recruitment at UNC Charlotte
 

Hey!

My roomie, will be going thru recruitment at UNC Charlotte starting Wednesday. They have their information session tonight. The parties are as follows:
Wednesday: 5
Thursday: 4
Friday: 3
Saturday: 2
Sunday: BID DAY!

Sororities:
Alpha Delta Pi
Chi Omega
Delta Zeta
Sigma Kappa
Zeta Tau Alpha

Recruitment is very laid back/relaxed here. She's a sophomore transfer...and one of the Recruitment counselors told her a lot of transfers go thru recruitment with positive results. She also said that 98% of all PNMS receive bids. I'll keep ya'll update:)

I have a cousin that goes there.. shes not greek but it is still the greatest town! I LOOOVE charlotte! hope ur roomie has the bes time!!!

One of my friends from high school is a Sigma Kappa there, and she has been working REALLY REALLY hard to get ready for recruitment week... I'm sure everyone else has too! I wish her tons and tons of good luck!

Thanks so much! She attended information night on Sunday and was able to talk to girls from the different organizations. She does have her favorites already...I will not mention them. She starts tonight, I think I may be more excited then she is! hahaha, she's very excited but I'm being more of a "cheerleader" about it! Anyhow, I will be out of town Thursday thru Saturday so I may not post her results until Bid Day...maybe Saturday Night(Pref).

she does have a favorite already...but I'm keeping quiet;) Chi Omega did drop her...she's ok with it.

Friday Night
 

She got cut from Alpha Delta Pi and Zeta Tau Alpha. She was very sad about ZTA:( She returned to two parties on Friday Night:
Delta Zeta
Sigma Kappa

I do not know where she is returning for pref...I'll keep you updated

she was cut by Delta Zeta last night. The only pref. invite she got was Sigma Kappa...she has decided to drop out of rush:( Hopefully if informal recruitment happens this year, she will decided to "rush" again. She just knows she would not be happy with Sigma Kappa. Anyhow thanks for the support

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. Please encourage her to pursue any COB opportunities, many women hear can attest to the fact that COB helped lead them to the perfect sisterhood for them.

Hey,

My roomie called the Panhellenic Advisor this morning and found out that Zeta Tau Alpha and Alpha Delta Pi are holding informal/COB events this week. She will be attending a Pizza party for ZTA tomorrow night. She has put in a call to the president of Alpha Delta Pi. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts! It has made her day!

My friend Sarah here accepted a bid from Delta Zeta here yesterday, she is very happy!

That's great news to hear that both ZTA and ADPi are having events this week, and that she's interested in attending! I hope she's happy, no matter where she ends up!
