Recipe Avenue
 
I just recieved a cookbook from a very dear source.....now yall know I needed a little help ;)...My grandaddy says if you can't make biscuits you can't cook....guess what I can't do.....anywho.... there are some good recipes in this book....I have a blank space for new recipes...I need anything you guys got and I am willing to share :) Here's a good one



SOUTHERN CORN CASSEROLE


4 cups sweet corn
1/2 cut green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 chili pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, grated
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 cup cream
1. In a shallow baking dish, combine the green pepper, red pepper, onion and garlic. Mix well.
2. Add the chili pepper and cheese. Stir in the eggs and cream. Bake for 1 hour until the casserole is set at 375 degrees. Serve with meat loaf and spoon bread. Serves 6.

baking a turkey
 
I was looking for recipes for baking a turkey on the internet and thought this was funny. i will post it for you all to see:

How to Bake a Turkey

Step 1: Go buy a Turkey.
Step 2: Take a drink of (scotch) whiskey.
Step 3: Put Turkey in oven.
Step 4: Take another 2 drinks of whiskey.
Step 5: Set the degree at 375 ovens.
Step 6: Take 3 more whiskeys of drink.
Step 7: Turn oven the on.
Step 8: Take 4 whisks of drinky.
Step 9: Turk the bastey.
Step 10: Whiskey another bottle of get.
Step 11: Stick a turkey in the thermometer.
Step 12: Glass yourself a pour of whiskey.
Step 13: Bake the whiskey for 4 hours.
Step 14: Take the oven out of the turkey.
Step 15: Take the oven out of the turkey.
Step 16: Floor the turkey up off of the pick.
Step 17: Turk the carvey.
Step 18: Get yourself another scottle of botch.
Step 19: Tet the sable and pour yourself a glass of turkey.
Step 20: Bless the saying, pass and eat out.
