Help!!!
 

Hi I'm a Theta Chi from KU, if you couldn't tell. I recently posted about seranding. Well we have our songs and evrything figured out, and tonight is the first night we are serenading, but I need help. Here's my situation. I'm currently just starting to date a girl, I have been interested in her for several months. I used to date her friend, its long and confusing. She is very special to me, and we are struggling with our relationship, "lets take this slow make this work" sort of way. Well I have to give a rose and a kiss on the cheek, she is uncomfortable with me kissing 6 girls. Now reguardless of her being uncomfortable, her and I just started dating and i have no desire to do it anyway. Well to bring this whole thing together, I'm going to sernade to support my brothers, I don't want to kiss the girls, and I have to figure out a special way to give each rose to the girl. Comments, advice, appreciated!!!!

I think that justamom has the right idea, not only will that probably not bother your new girlfriend, but the other girls will be talking about what gentleman you were for days!

As a recipient of said serenading, I would agree with the idea to kiss their hands. I for one did not enjoy all the kisses from a bunch of sweaty (from walkin around) boys that just smelled like a brewery!! Go for the hand, the girls will appreciate the break from the regular guys.

The hand-kissing is cute, but I think the girl should really understand that a kiss on the cheek for a serenade means nothing... I think maybe if you talk about it and explain to her how it means nothing to you and how she means a lot to you she would understand.

Thanx for all the advice, I will probably do the kiss the hand thing. She didn't say not to kiss them, she said if it mean't nothing it was ok, but I could still tell it bothered her. She's not in a house she plays soccer for my school. I also will do the hand things cuz I care enough about my girl, that I dont really have the desire to kiss anyone else...
