Booths isntead of houses
Ok since my school is a very small commuter school we don't have houses. We do though have "greek row" which is one side of the quad where all sororities and fraternities have their booths. Do any other schools, who don't have houses do this or is my school the only one???

we have booths out for rush in the quad. but they all have to be taken down once the recruitment period is over. we don't have a greek row of houses either... but a few fraternities have houses out in midtown.
what school do you go to? |
I go to CSU Stanislaus in Turlock California,
we have our booths there all thoughout the semester. It's kind of the place to hang out while we are at school and socialize with other organizations. |
*nods* Yep..no greek houses whatsoever, it's lame. All we have is picnic tables painted by a GLO. And even then, out of 9 GLO's only 5 actually painted their tables decently.

Interesting. My campus everyone just hangs out in certain areas of campus between classes or during breaks.

I really didn't mean that in a bad way. Okay? Some of the tables are halfway painted or have have nothing of their GLO on it. And, I'm sorry if I actually like Greeks and would see more members in glo's. A lot of times freshman will ask about the tables and all (please mind, this is an itty-bitty campus) and if you have nothing on the table than they won't know who you are or if it looks like crap than that could translate in if the members won't even take time to finish a job than what does that say about their GLO? It's kinda like having a house that looks like trash compared to one that is neatly kept. Appearances do matter, and guess which one pnm's will visit first?
