Okay, a member is selling her badge - she even admits the chapter she's from! Time for us to all remind her of the fact that she only has a lifetime LEASEHOLD on her badge and shouldn't be selling it! We were able to educate that one person who ended up withdrawing her auction - let's hope we can do it again!

I got an e-mail back from the seller about whether or not IHQ buys back badges. I sent her a really nice e-mail back suggesting she sell it to her chapter or a local alumnae group. Hopefully she takes the advice and revokes the sale.

Apparently she has decided to continue the auction.

there's another! =( it was just listed. it's not under alpha gamma delta but sorority pin instead. if i find the link later i'll let ya'll know. i'm high bidder on it right now. "alpha gam girl" so hopefully i'll stay there. if i get this one i'm sending it to IHQ cause i've already got two pins of my own.

The price of this badge is up to $100 now. That's not sending a very good message to this sister. I hope she's at least making sure a member gets it. :mad:

I sent the seller an email at the end of the auction to share with her my disappointment in her as a sister for selling her badge.
