The NPC conference will be at the Marriott in Oak Brook, IL, October 10-12. All NPC alumnae are invited to the luncheon and closing banquets on Saturday.

It would be very, very cool if GCers could get together!

I'll answer my own question -- I am! I registered for both the luncheon and the banquet on Saturday. My PiPhi friend Fran will be there and, I hope, my APhi friend Valerie.

Wow -- I live very near Oak Brook, so I think I am going to have to go. That is so cool!

I might be making a road trip from Toronto - only 7 hours, but it's Canadian Thanksgiving (first - deal with the in-laws....)

Has anyone been to this before and know what goes on? Is it just a lunch and a dinner to meet people or is it run more like a convention? Please fill me in because I'd really like to more and the site doesn't specify very well. My grandmother lives in nearby LaGrange and I could visit her and go to this! Please let me know!:)

I went to the last NPC...I didn't go to every session and just one formal meal. I went to one NPC business session and they "introduced" you during roll call which was very cool. During roll your first delegate reports from the entire delegation. I was introduced as well as three other Phi's attending that session.

At the dinner the outgoing NPC President is honored and gives a speech and some speeches will be given about her. Then the incoming woman is sworn in and gives some remarks. I am sure the program at the dinner will be a little more robust because it being the anniversary year of NPC.

Sally Grant, an Alpha Phi is currently NPC preseident. I can check with her for more specifics if you like.
