SAE Gift
 

One of my really great guy friends just recieved a Bid from SAE, and I wanted to get him a present because when I pledged ZTA he found me this really cool picture of our Crest. Well, I am big into antique shopping and while I was in one store I found a really old copy of "The Phonex Pledge Manuel" and I was wondering if this would be something cool that I could give him. I know I would be so excited to have a really old ZTA book but I didn't know if an old copy of "The Phoneix was easy to come by or if every pledge would have one or what. If you have any advice on the matter, please e-mail me or reply ASAP!!!

The True Gentleman

Second, to fivepointcrown, I think that would make an incredible gift. The pledge manual has gone through a number of revisions from its original version to the pheonix of today. If for no other reason than historical interest, this would make quite a find. In fact, a book like that (depending on its date of publication) could get someone a nice sum on ebay or similar sites (not that I advocate selling things Greek on ebay, but this sort of thing happens routinely whether we want it to or not). Your friend will appreciate it very much and will likely appreciate you even more for getting it for him. Good luck to you.
