regularly matriculated
It says that a potential member must be a regularly matriculated full-time student. I am not sure that I qualify. I am what is called an extended studies student..which means I am non-degree seeking...but I am seeking a degree, I just couldn't apply as a undergrad until Spring.
Panhellenic guidelines say I have to be matriculated defined by my instiution. So there may be hope, though it doesn't look good. Also, I was told I might be able to join, and the national just won't recognize me till Spring...when I am fully matriculated. Anyone have any advice! |
I'd go see, email or call the panhellenic office. they would be able to help you out more with any questions. there is a possibility (i think) that even though panhellenic may let you go through, certain orgs. may not recognize you or give you a bid bc of it.

Huh, huh, huh. You said matriculated. :p Sorry, couldn't resist.
You could probably go through rush, but you could not begin pledging if you don't meet the requirements. Before we allowed 1st sem freshmen to pledge, many of them went through rush in the fall as a "trial run" but then again we didn't have a big ol rush fee either. If this is common at your school, it wouldn't hurt. I agree with Maggie, call the GL office and ask. |
