reunion ideas
 

hello sisters!

i origionally posted this in the general forum, but i am in desparate need of phi mu help! i am working on this reunion committee and we are getting lots of negative response. i am hoping to plan some fun activities that will make people more excited about the event. have any of you planned or attended a reunion or anniversary celebration? we are celebrating 10 years on our campus and it is a very big deal to us! i would love any ideas that you have! please help!!!!

we just celebrated our 75th Anniversary of being on campus, and we celebrated the 150th and held state day the same weekend. I don't think anyone had a husband come, but we had a silent auction in which a lot of phi mu memorabelia was auctioned off. we also had a lunch, a dinner, a "mocktail" party, we gave tours of our house and of OU's campus, and we had a brunch. in addition we had a pinning circle for an alumna who had just become engaged, and we had an open founders day ceremony. it was a very special weekend, and it's a memory i will treasure always. I went to Alpha Psi's 25th many years ago and it was great. They had displays of all the years, so we were all gathering around our time period looking at pictures and composites. They did a lovely lunch and then did a montage of all the various skit songs from year 1 - 25. Quite interesting. They made up buttons for us - still have mine with the chapter insignia and 25 under it. Good luck with yours.
