I haven't been on this board long, but I wanted to take the time to say that I love the internet. Without it, it would have been much more difficult if not impossible for all of us to connect.

Along with that. it's great that so many women from so many different chapters are represented here. From reading your advice to PNMs and your words of wisdom to other Greeks, I have to say I am proud to call you all my sisters and I can see how the love and inspiration from our cherished founders goes on every day.

Also as a newbie here, I heartily agree, and I have to say I have been so impressed with how well you all have represented AOII on this board. It is one of the reasons I decided to join!

Wow, Suzanne and rubyrose, you're making me get all teary. The AOIIs here are wonderful and so welcoming. It's great to have other AOII sisters online. Keep posting and you'll never leave :)

I'm a big internet fan, just about everything I do is internet based when it comes to news, entertainment, e-mail (of course!), and more. Our Corp Board officers use e-mail for just about everything, it makes our jobs as volunteers for AOII ***so*** much easier than things were even 5 or 10 years ago. Thanks to the internet I can see what's going on with our International organization, keep up with my former collegiate chapter and alumnae chapter, and cyber-meet other sisters from all over North America.

Speaking of GC, I really like the structure of this particular board. It's self-contained and easy to use (and I'm not a big fan of web based boards in general, but this set up is very user friendly!) I like the interaction with collegiates and alumni of other groups here, and I love the discussions -- especially all those recruitment threads!! -- This is a nice little corner of cyberspace and I'm glad that we all have found it, and each other!
