Hey I'm finally an active at the Gamma Kappa chapter at Western IL University and I'm sooooo happy I decided to rush Chi Omega! After being very anti-greek for two long years, I found a home at Chi O where I could be myself and the girls were AWESOME! Anyway, I just wanted to say hey to everybody and say that I'm really excited for recruitment this week!!!

I met some ladies from your chapter several year ago at convention and LOVED them! They were awesome...they would have fit right in at my chapter at URI! Good luck during recruitment!

Well recruitment is over... we got 19 really amazing girls... I can't wait for big sis/lil sis night!! I've really started bonding more with my sisters and I can't imagine not being a Chi O now. These girls really are there for you in any moment of crisis or insanity.. lol I just wish I had went Chi O earlier :( That's why I have to make this year the best ever!

I'm glad that you have found strength in your sisters. I've been there myself...hard times that got me down. I didn't always turn to my sisters right away, but know that they'd be there for me if need be!

Ohmigosh! This is my chapter (Fall '86 pledge class)! I'm glad to know that we are still going strong at WIU.

Brelki - this is a bit off the subject - how are plans going for Gamma Kappa's 20th anniversary going. :)

It's going really well... I'm not on that committee, but it sounds like they have a lot planned! I can't wait! This year is going to be packed with a ton of really fun stuff. It's a very exciting time, since it is my senior year as well, but it's also very sad... This is my last everything, but it's ok, I plan to be involved in the alumni/grad chapters for grad school!! :)
I wish I could answer your question a bit better, sorry :(

Lil' Sis
 

By the way, Wednesday was Big/Lil' Sis night. I have the CUTEST lil' sis!!!! We're a perfect match -- both redheads, both artistic, both fashionable.. lol (although she is much more fashionable than myself). I'm super glad she's my lil' sis though -- we have so much fun together!! And I'm even more glad now that I can tell everyone that I'm Becky's Big Sis!!!!:D
