Thanks to the Alums
 

I just wanted to say that is so cool hearing from alums on this site. As a rushee, it's encouraging to see proof that sisterhood lasts long after college. All of you definitely reflect well on the Greek system, and I wanted to say thanks for contributing!

I'm going to be at UC Santa Cruz, so Greek life there isn't really as significant at all as in other places. But I'm still excited. It sounds cool to be involved forever if you want, hopefully I can get to that point also!

Thank you! You are soooo sweet! Actually- you are doing us a favor because we get to re-live the whole recruitment again thru your posts! I am so excited for everyone going thru this Fall!

Thanks so much! I love hearing rushees' stories and answering their questions about DZ and Greek Life. Being an alumna is great! I thought when I graduated that I wouldn't be able to contribute to Rush anymore - but I've learned in the past couple of years that alumnae support during Rush is always welcomed by the college girls and is just as much fun as participating as a collegiate! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Wishinhopin, where will you be going through rush?

I was the chair of alumnae/collegiate relations for my chapter last year, and absolutely loved my job! I not only do sorority business with the alums, but I hang out socially with some of them. The job totally made me want to be an active alum. (Besides, I want that Zeta Honor Ring!) Next week, I am going to their meeting to tell them about what we're doing for rush! We love to have their help!
