FSU PiKA dies in softball game
 

A memorial fund has been established for Ryan L'Homme, a member of Pi Kappa Alpha's new colony at Fla. State. He had made the dean's list during his first freshman semester.

In a PiKA vs Chi Phi softball game in Mar., 2000, Ryan was running towards second base when hit in the temple by a ball thrown by the shortstop. He died the next day.

Thanks for the information. My boyfriend and cousin are members of Pi Kappa Alpha. I am truely sorry to hear that a young, healthy person had to lose his life by a horrible accident. Thank you again for posting the scholarship information.

Not to mention the shortstop. That guy must be feeling some heavy guilt. So sad.

This accident was truly a sad event, coming so soon after the chapter's rechartering.


However, I wonder why you are publishing this information TWO YEARS after the event occurred.
