So I FINALLY got to hear how Recruitment went for my chapter...and we took Quota plus one (of course).
We got 25 great gals and I can't wait to get to know them as an Alum!

How did everyone else's respective chapter's do?

We don't start formal recruitment until September 19th, I'm a little excited, but not as much as I was before. I just want to fast forward, get all our new girls, but most of all..my big/best friend in the world is neutral, so I can't wait until she comes home!!!!

We took quota right on the dot (17) BUT, it is not disappointing at all to have not taken any more girls because we couldn't! Quota put us over house total, so I'm not complaining! :) They are awesome ladies, lemme tell ya!

Our house filled quota (14) which brings us to a total of 60 girls!! We are currently the biggest house on campus!!

Oops, I forgot to ask how you make a signature. I went to user cp and saw the signature box, but how do you change colors and font and all that good stuff? Thanks!

At our chapter, quota was 20, and we got 12. It was the first time in 10 years we haven't amde quota, so we are so bummed. Of 6 sororities, we are definitely in the top 3, but I think we cut too many too soon. A very hard lesson learned! Hopefully we can get chapter total up by COB over the next few months. Any thoughts for us?

CHIOqt, thanks SO much for your encouragement! I have been totally confused as I have hear this phrase repeated over and over "quality of quantity." Personally, I belive it wholeheartedly! However, I heard an alum saying "You find quality in quantity." I don't know what to think! HEEELLPP!

I will tell you this EVERY girls we got is 100% quality! All are classy and motivated, as well as having high morals! I also am SO glad my "Rush Crush" went XO!

We took quota plus 5!!!!!!!!! So that is a total of 29 wonderful, classy Chi Omegas. I had such a ball at bid day, finally getting to put faces with names......they'd come out and I'd squeal "Oh, what a cutie patootie!!!!!!!!!!" We got 3 (I believe) legacies, maybe 4........I know that we did lose 2 :( one to Delta Gamma and one to Alpha Phi......oh well. I have to attend the new member meeting this week before Chee Omunga and give them my alcohol spiel..........

Hey, Girls! Hate to crash your board, but I wanted to let ya'll know that Psi Lamda at Valdosta State got some great girls! They have an awesome pledge class that ya'll can be proud of.

Thanks for letting us know! I do believe that is Carnation's daughter's chapter now (yeah for her)! Can't wait to hear how she's enjoying her pledge semester (Ahem ~ Carnation!!!!)

Hi! I was told my presence was requested over here and thank you,VSUPhiMu, for the compliments on her class!

Ballerina has turned into Super-XO with the largest owl and shirt collection in her class! She loves her sorority and even loves pledge meetings and I think the child hasn't been out of her letters since Bid Day! She just worships her big sister.

I didn't know that sororities still did the semester-long pledgeships but she says they're to be initiated in January. She may come home for the first time in 2 weeks and I can guess what we'll hear all about!:)

my pledge class is 25 strong (with quota being 26) and I am SUPER excited about getting to know all the girls in my pledge class.. 9 of us moved in right away and our (physical) house is FULL! its super fun living in!
we do not get initiated till the beginning of winter term because we have to wait to "make grades"

I think that's the one thing I wish my chapter had...a house! It would have been sorta neat living with my sisters. Although I ended up living in a duplex with my little sister in Chi Omega, it still wasn't the same!
