Texas Tech Rush results?
 

I was wondering if anyone had any info about Rush at Texas Tech. I head through the grapevine that all sororities made quota!!!

I know for a fact that the Gamma Iota chapter of Alpha Phi made quota!! :D I do not know about the others though. Sorry!!

That is outstanding! Congrats to all the new sisters at Tech! I am trying to find this info out myself, as well.

But kind of sad too--I believe quota was 54. they started the week with about 818 PNMs (according to the school paper). If all 11 groups made quota, then about 594 women got bids. So-about 220 women didn't get bids? Of course-give or take a few b/c I know some groups took quota plus....but still. Over 200 women without a home is depressing!

It does not really mean some 200 women went bidless. Remember on most campuses, some women drop out of recruitment along the way.

That is so awsome that all chapters made quota. If I remember correctly, that is the first time since 1990! I hope the greek system at Tech continues to grow :-)

True. I actually meant that in a general sense, it is sad that 200 women who, whether by choice or not, did not find a home. Also, a good number of the women who drop out, do so only because they are cut heavily in the first round--and alot of them are quality women, that but for the lack of a rec--might not have fallen through the cracks.

We see this at so many schools, and it is disturbing to me...but then again, the fact that everyone made quota at Tech is a wonderful sign of the strength of their system, and that it is only going to get better in the future!
