When do all of you start the fall term? If you started today, how was it?




I made two posts today, both of which were made while seriously stressed out. If I made some comments out of line, please excuse me.

I started school again today. It wasn't too bad! :)

I don't start until the last day of September, so still about a month to go !

I'm moving in on September 17th and classes begin on the 26th. Yay, quarters. :rolleyes:

To top that, I've had to re-arrange my schedule yet again. Now it looks like this:

U.S. Foreign Policy
Reformation Germany
Vocal Pedagogy
Voice Lessons
Concert Choir

I'm going to be reading nonstop this term.

I start school at UC Irvine one of the first days of October. I only have Monday-Thursday classes and the first day of school is a Friday. Monday all I have are discussion sections for lectures that haven't started meaning free day. So I actually start on a Tuesday and end on a Thursday.

I started back yesterday-not with classes, but with a 4 hour Mid-Curriculum exam, to get a baseline assessment of how much we know-we take this in order to determine if we are ready to take our exit exam, and then boards. Luckily, I passed, and am now cleared to take our exit exam!! Woo hoo!!

Actualy classes were today, from 8:00-10:00 and then 1:00-4:00. Not too bad. But I already have a presenation due tomorrow. :rolleyes:

Classes for this semester: Care of the Older Adult, and Advanced Adult. Between the two classes I have an ICU rotation, an ER rotation, and a geriatrics rotation. Both classes are 7 weeks long, and run at the same time. I love stress.

I don't start until next MONTH!! About 90% of my friends are already off at college, as is my boyfriend.

I am a very, very lonely girl!

I started class today.
It was interesting. I did enjoy it and it felt good to be back, but BOY did I feel old. I have a couple classes with sorority sisters, so that was nice. Although MOST everyone that saw me on campus was like, "What are you doing here? We thought you were engaged and living in Texas." VERY long day explaining the outcome of that pathetic situation.
Otherwise, I added a FIFTH class inbetween my third and what was then fourth class. I figured I might as well make good use of the hour and 15 minute break. So I'm taking classes form 8 30 am to 3 45 pm with only 15 minutes between classes. I had to get up at 6 30 am and traffic was so bad that even though I left at 7 30, I didn't get to school until 8 15ish. PATHETIC!
