If you like India.Arie then you just my enjoy another up and coming artist by the name of Jerzee Monet. Her music has a positive message that is inspiring and uplifting at the same time. Many of her songs make you think and she has a variety of songs from the hit "Most High" with DMX, to the love songs such as "Work it Out and Tonight is the Night, and finally she has incorporated a few nice dance grooves such as "Yeah" featurig Eve. Her cd speaks to African American females and males as well it's positive and an empowering piece of work. If you are sick and tired of listening to the same basic cookie cutter artist that are over represented by the different record companies you just might want to give Jerzee Monet a go.

i am definitely a fan of india.arie and most certainly a fan of jaguar wright. i think their styles are contrasting, but both superb. now, i'm not impressed with jerzee monet's first single, "most high." it just didn't catch me. i'm quite uninterested in her vocal stylings and would hope to high heaven that the album is not full of her singing like she has a frog stuck in her throat.

I just bought her CD mainly because I DO LOVE INDIA, Jill, JAG, and LINA who are all underappreciated.

Jerzee's CD is $8.99 @ Circuit City.

I am on track #1 right now which I have never heard (not a big radio listener) but I am digging it. It was recorded in Ohio. :cool:

Jerzee has a really nice sound and I heard that India has a new CD Out! Russ Par and Olivia Fox, from Kiss 93.9, were giving it the go!
