Recruitment...How'd We Do?!

DELTA SIGMAconducted their Recruitment Training School today. Everyone had a great time and they're all excited for it to begin!
Recruitment for Delta Sigma begins on Monday, 9/9 and concludes Thursday 9/20! Will post more as things happen! |

Alpha Kappa here at BGSU hasn't started recruitment yet. We start late (aka in about 2 1/2 weeks.) We'll have final FORMAL recruitment numbers by the 24th of next month. I'll keep ya posted.

Theta Iota received 5 new members plus some through COB (Not sure of how many exactly)
Quota was 42 but they totally revamped their rush this year, so I am sure that since this was a restructuring year they will do fine, besides they are an AWESOME COB chapter! Wish them luck! Sarah |
Theta Tau chapter got 17 WONDERFUL new girls today!!! Quota was 22, but some mistakes and circumstances occurred that caused us some problems... but on the plus side, there are some great girls that couldn't go through Recruitment since it was on Labor Day weekend, so we will get to COB them starting next week :) Oh and I've got the greatest sis-daughter on the face of the earth!!

Well, I'm finally back from Lafayette, and I'm very pleased to announce that Zeta Theta extended 7 bids through formal recruitment and had all 7 accept! :D This is the first time in recent history that this has happened. We've also had 3 COB's accept so far, and things are looking pretty good for a few more (keep your fingers crossed!). Quota was 19, and 4 out of the 6 chapters made quota, but everyone was eligible to COB because so many women dropped out of recruitment. We had 167 women sign up; 54 dropped out and 26 were not matched. Thankfully, there were no quota additions and the new greek advisor enforced all of the NPC rules to a T. Overall, I am extremely pleased with how recruitment went this year. :)

Woo hoo! We had another 2 COB acceptances! :D That brings us up to 12 new members. Just thought I'd share because it's exciting. :cool:

hehehe, you're welcome, Jen. BTW, I don't know if you know this, but we not only acquired 12 wonderful new members during fall recruitment, but also a new advisor: Courtney is going to be Member Development Advisor. :) I think this is the most advisors we've ever had!

Theta Iota has added 2 sisters so far that I know of for sure through COB.
