Fundraising Ideas?
 

I just wanted to see if any chapters out there had any successful and fun fundraising activity ideas!! Fundraising seems to be an area where many chapters could use new ideas from fellow chapters!! Thanks!

I am sooooo happy to see my girl on here!!!! I cant wait to be roomies supersoon :) Ditto for the fundrasing ideas....money =good. This board is a valuable resource for all chapters and I hope it will be used more in the future!!!!!Thank you for being on top of my jobby larks !! ;)

A couple of things the Alpha Theta Chapter at NCSU has done that seemed to be a big success...

*A Service Auction: Auction off various services (cook dinner, etc) to a crowd of college people who really don't like doing that stuff themselves. We made over $1,000 doing that!

*Wal-Mart and Sam's Club matches donations for non-profit organizations. We've done a car wash and a BBQ sale and made pretty good at it, especially since they matched our profits!

Every fall we do Monte Carle night. Its basically fake gambling, auctions and dinner. It takes months of planning. We start over the summer and the event is at the end of October. But all our hard work pays off. We make around $2000-4000. If you want anymore info let me know.
