Christmas Shopping - gators jacket for a teen boy
 

I'm looking to purchase a Florida Gators jacket for a teen boy and I'm having a hard time finding what I'm looking for.

What I don't want:
hoodie/sweater type material
pullover (needs to be full zip or button up)
no big ugly gator logo on the front

What I do want:
Letterman or Varsity Style preferred
Florida or Gators spelled out across the chest.
Main jacket color should be blue. If Varsity style, blue body with orange sleeves.

This is the closest I've found to what I want, but this is an old ebay listing, and I can't find anything like it:

I know I can order a blue/orange letterman jacket, but what about the embroidery patch across the front? I have googled myself to death and cant seem to find what I'm looking for.

That being said, I love the one in your photo, but that is not UF's blue. Their's is sort of an electric blue.

BAHAHA. Trust me, if/when this adoption ever goes through, we're gonna be a house divided unless we can convince him to be a DAWGS fan! ;)

It's been a long year. This process sucks. But, we got to see him this weekend, and he made a comment about wanting a Gators jacket. I got the okay from the state and case workers that we could get him a Christmas present even if for whatever reason things hadn't progressed a little further by then.

My heart hurts for the wait...:(

Did you look online at what their bookstore might sell?

Yeah, I did, and I keep running into hoodies, sweatshirts, or pullover style jackets. There's one letterman style that I like, but it's a grey jacket with blue/orange lettering and just not quite what I'm looking for. I have a few more weeks to be picky, plus we're going to PCB for thanksgiving, so I hope to check out some local shops while I'm there. If I don't find anything then, I guess I'm just going to have to make a decision to get something.

I'm sure he will be thrilled no matter what.
