False Stories About Your Org
 

Anyone ever receive some info (especially from the net or email) regarding your org and it seemed valid but it just did not ring true?

It troubles me when I see erroneous emails circulate and I KNOW THAT THEY ARE FALSE.

For those of you who have seen a certain email lately, it is WRONG. You cannot believe everything that you read.

Are you saying the newspaper where that particular article appeared in does not exist?

It exists and they wrote the article. When confronted, the newspaper admitted that they did not check the veracity of the so called press release nor the legitimacy of the source, they just ran it without checking. No such thing happened, nor will it ever. Unlike many people that perpetuate internet rumors, I ALWAYS check with the source before I confirm or deny anything or be guilty of forwarding bad info. Rumors can be fun to discuss, but misinformation passed off as the truth can be harmful.

I dont guess anyone would be willing to post where the topic or article was at would they?
I would just like to get a laugh out of it?

Yes I am curious as well.

Let's not further promote this story by providing anymore information on it. The story has already proven false so its time to let it die.
