Question about my computer...
When I do a search and I type, for example, "apples", everytime I type an "a" in the search box, say I wanted to do a new search for "alligators", "apples" will appear until I type in the letter "L" for "alligators"...are you following me?
My question...how can I erase those things I've previously searched, in this case, "apples"? Or is it there forever? My search obviously has a memory, which is fine, but it bothers me when there is such a long list of items I've searched. So how can I start with a clean slate? I hope this makes sense. can someone help? |
I know what you are talking about, I get it whenever I enter anything into a box. When I first got my computer, I remembered I got a message that said if I wanted it to save old stuff I typed it and I clicked yes because I usually go to the same sites and it's easier for me, but you are sharing a computer or something, then people know what you looked up. I don't know how to reset it though, because it's not your internet that controls it, so clearing cookies, caches, and temps won't clear it. I think it was called Fast Tracker maybe, but I'm probably wrong.
