Did you guys get an email from the publishing company asking to call a 1-888 #?

I'm reserving a hardbound copy.

I did! Unfortunately the line has been busy!

I got it; I am going to call later. I hope I get through ok!

Realize that the directory is going to be published in May.

I had a concern about having a different address from what IHQ currently has (graduating in May) but one has nothing to do with another.

I paid for half of it now and half of it when it delivers.

I haven't called yet. I never could get the webpage to work so I emailed the address they told me to so that I could get a paper copy...never heard from them!

Can someone post or PM me the phone number? I just moved and have all new info (including email). I'd like to get them the info before it's printed all wrong! :)

Does anyone know if IHQ or the publishing company is actively trying to find "missing" women or trying to find women? Like calling and researching to find women? I could be wrong (hope I am), but I've gotten the impression (I have nothing to base this on, just a strange feeling) that they may be publishing their current database and that they're just changing information from the women they've heard from this summer? I haven't called yet, and not sure how much the directory is, but I hate to pay for it if it's mostly the same information that we can get from "sister search".

The directory is $79 (hardcover or CD-ROM). It lists just more than one's name, address, chapter, and email. It lists phone numbers (if provided by the member) of home and work, occupation, work address (if provided), family members, chapter members of each chapter, and city/state listings of members. I use Sister Search for basics, but the directory is great to get more details!!! And you don't have to deal with the flakiness of Sister Search if you don't spell a member's name perfectly to match up with the database!

There is also a soft cover for $69.99 :)

Not to mention, it's nice to have something that isn't "transient", kind of like taking a snapshot of the fraternity as of a certain date in time. I'm sure there will be pictures in there as well, which might make it all worth the money. The person I talked to said that they wouldn't be doing another one for another 6-8 years.

I'd say it's about been that long since I got the last one!

I called yesterday (thanks to the ladies who PMed and posted the #!), and they do have a package deal for the CD-Rom and hardbound copy for $99.

Sister search only gives mailing address and email address, and this directory will be more thorough... so it's worth it for me. Didn't know they had the soft-cover option though, thanks for mentioning that, UMgirl! :)
