What the hell is wrong with people? :mad:

Is it a lack of common sense?
Bad judgement?
No manners?
Or, just plain stupid?

Come on man, I took off work today and ditched several other plans today to attend our campus program committee meeting, and guess what the president didn't show up and me and my friend were the only people who were there. Not to mention that we have two very important events coming up within the next two weeks, and because we didn't meet today, we have NO IDEA what to do.

Last Friday night, I was supposed to go out, but I couldn't because I didn't know what movie and what time to go to and which dance club afterwards, because the person who got together this girls night out thing left a message on the answer machine Thursday, telling me to call her at work Friday to get details. She was not at work Friday. :rolleyes:

This is only the tip of the iceberg I'm sick of unreliable people. You know, people do have lives (yes, even me now) and do not appreciate it when we make special arrangements in our schedules for things only to get stood up. :mad:

I have the urge to send some not-so-nice emails out right now! :eek:

Is it something in the water where I from? Or, this is an issue for everyone?

Oh I think all chapters deal with this crap!! i remember in February we did one of our philanthropys no one from exec showed up!!!! That really makes girls want to do stuff for their house-not!

This just isn't chapter stuff. I think this is a young peoples' thing.

people are rude and inconsiderate. This one guy would always make plans with me and then at the last minute they wouldn't work out.
Also why can't people(guys/girls) learn to be on time. I think it is so rude to be late unless you have car problems. But getting ready is not an excuse-- get ready earlier!:mad:
