my rush experience
I am just finishing up rush... What a great and amazing week. It seems that everyone here really likes the rush stories and I plan on posting mine very soon. what is it that you would like to know about my experience? If I wrote everything that happened this would be one very long post. Maybe if i can get an idea of what everyone is interested in, I can leave out the boring stuff... well,, let me know and i will post my story soon
|
Ashley, I hope you had a GREAT experience! Generally speaking, people like to know
What campus you are speaking about-IF you feel comfortable giving out that informaton. What Sororities are represented How many girls went through A TACTFUL account of impressions you had.(You know,NOT EFG had BO or everyone in JKL picked their noses) What you loved about certain groups, their skits, songs, the way they interacted with the PNMs. Was it casual or really competative. The ending of YOUR story!:) I'm sure we would all love to listen! I probably left some points of interest out. Anyone care to add? PS-I doubt ANYONE would find ANYTHING you post boring! |
Ashley, I'd love to read the story, no matter how long (or how short!!)
Justamom gave a great list. The only thing I can think of if there's any little things that just made you smile or anything that you didn't expect that happened during the week. Can't wait to read your story, thanks for being willing to share with us! Christin |
Ashley:
I know I love hearing everything, so whatever you tell us will be wonderful. I'm a sucker for details about about the different party themes, decorations and skits. I also love to hear about philanthropy night, how the chapters presented their service commitment to pnms and how you felt about it. Also what's probably helpful to others on both sides of recruitment is how your Rho Chi or Pi Chi (or whatever your campus name for that person is) interacted with you pnms. Were they helpful? And you certainly can't go wrong with letting us know what you wore....that is always fun to know!! But let me repeat, everything is interesting so just tell us what stuck out in your mind. Thanks so much for posting. And congratulations on a good recruitment experience!!!! |
Good Luck Ashley99..what school do you attend and what are the NPC sororites that are there?I am curious to know...I am soo happy for all the rush threads popping up

The more details the better!
I for one want to know EVERYTHING!! :D And frankly I want to know exactly what sororities you are talking about with your thoughts and impressions etc...no coy references like "I went to EFG and they were nice but the girls at ABC were cuter..." Tell us the actual sororities!!!! ;) Don't leave anything out! And hurry! Us Rush experience groupies are about to go thru withdrawal because all the pledges are celebrating and NOT getting their stories told on GreekChat! Harumph! The noive!

I agree with the 2 previous comments. I think that if there are girls on the board that are from the specific schools/chapters listed they can learn valuable info ie-if someone says the rusher talked too much or they didn't seem interested in conversation then the chapter can learn what they need to work on. Oftentimes houses are probably unintentionally doing stuff that may be affecting rushees opinions of the house.
