What happended to newbie?
 

Newbie used to post all the time!!! I have yet to hear where she is going to college and if she is still planning on rushing! Newbie-- what houses are on your campus and when does rush begin?

She's around!
 

Newbie is around, I've gotten some PM's from her fairly recently. She will be attending my school, USC, in the spring, and rushing next fall. So you just get to look forward to her story for another year. (And hopefully I will be one of the people rushing her by then!)

Ok, now I'm cornfused-I heard something that she was going to community college in the Fall and then transferring to USC. What's the story??:confused:

UGH life is not fair!!! I just remember her last summer being so excited about rush even though she was only starting her senior yr of high school!

That's right! She is transferring to USC in the spring, but USC doesn't have an informal rush (and they barely do COB at all) so she will be rushing fall 03. Although I'm sure Newbie could tell us about it better than anyone, where are you girl?;)

I talk to her on AOL...i'll see whats up the next time i talk to her...if this is the girl i talk to...i forgot what her GC name was, but i'm pretty sure it's her.

From what I can recall, Newbie will indeed be attending USC, beginning in the spring as a freshman (that is when she was accepted for). Until then, she will be taking classes at a community college. Fall 2003 will be her opportunity to participate in formal recruitment at USC.

...to read about GCer's going thru rush at my beloved alma mater USC -- all I ever hear out here in Georgia is Auburn, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Emory, Oglethorpe, Mercer, etc etc etc...even when I say "USC" around here, everyone thinks I am a Gamecock (eeeew!) from South Carolina! :rolleyes: Geesh! I much prefer to be a TROJAN!! Fight On!!! I miss Southern Cal! sigh.......
