Trump surrogate falsely claims to be a Kappa Alpha Phi
Pastor Mark Burns gets called out on CNN for not being a Kappa Alpha Psi ... among other claims listed on his resume.

I saw that too. Is this the most prominent perp we've seen?
|
It's Kappa Alpha Psi, and I don't understand why anyone would lie about membership in an organization so large and nationwide that could be so easily verified-or not. The school he claims to have gotten a degree from, North Greenville University, is a private religious school that isn't well-thought of in the state (but maybe more so among religious circles?).

What chapter had he started joining?
Since he's stated that he started joining a chapter, does anyone know what chapter he started the process with? Undergrad at North Greenville (or a chapter that covers North Greenville) or Graduate (somewhere)...

For a campaign which almost seems to be a parody of American presidential campaigns, this is kind of par for the course, no? But does something like this really alienate a lot of the educated black voters Trump is trying to appeal to? Or is it really just another side show which will keep Trump dominate in the news coverage?

It might be a reasonable minimal expectation to check on the credentials of individuals you want to represent your campaign on national TV. Of course there may not be a single soul in the campaign with the knowledge and wherewithal to check fraternal credentials.

That's pretty much what I meant by that last sentence.
