GLO Stamps
Hello all :)
Yesterday I was at the Ohio State Fair shopping around when I came across something. I stopped over at a stamp vendor and found some old GLO stamps from printing presses! :) They were alot of them there!! I found an old Chi-O, Tri-Delta, and there were many more! I asked the vendor of how he came across these. He said that he'll buy old printing presses from auctions and the stamps that he finds in them he'll just go ahead and sell them for some extra money. I thought it was pretty nifty! I was looking good and hard for a TKE one, but alas, he said he had sold 2 earlier that morning :( Well, thought this was pretty neat!! PS- If ya find a TKE one by chance, contact me!!! |
Cool.. Speaking of stamps, there is a lady who makes rubber stamps for GLO's and sells them on eBay for about $9. They are really cute.. I'll try to find a link to send you

How neat! I wish I could see what they looked like!

Hootie-
Well, some of the stamps were mostly of the crests and all, that's how I recognized the ones in which the actual greek letters were worn down. :) Some of them however didn't sound familiar, so..they may have been some glo's that aren't active anymore. |
There are ALWAYS TKE printing press mats on ebay. I'm so addicted to that website, it's sick. But I always see the "licensed TKE vendor" symbol on there. Look under all ebay categories -> collectibles -> historical memorabilia -> fraternal groups -> fraternity, sorority. There's literally new stuff on there everyday. Good luck!
