Sorors, Your Help Is Needed!

Greetings to everyone! My name is Stacye and I live in the Chicagoland area. I have been searching for employment and I haven't any luck with finding a job. If there is anyone that can pass any information to me please contact me at 773-288-6754. I will be glad to email and/or fax a copy of my resume. Thank you all for your time and patience. Peace and love.

Sisterly,
Stacye

Sorhor Stacey Matthew,

My thoughts and prayers are with you! Anyway, are you willing to relocate and have you checked out the jobs on the Federal government website? Did you distribute your information to the listserv(s) for Central region and the other regions? Did you think about applying to work in the field of education? A lot of my coworkers (secondary education teachers) never student taught but they are qualified to teach middle school or high school because they would just focus on the content area and there are a lot of public and private school systems that are really in need of qualied middle and high school educators. Finally, many public school systems would give you a provisional license and allow you to take the extra needed classes to get fully certified in the field of education. For example, Fairfax County Public School System actually gives the person two years to get fully certified and a lot of the classes are offered through their professional course offerings and so many of the courses would be free. You would also have to take the Praxis exams (I believe that you would have to take the content and general education exams.) which are pretty easy and they are always offered throughout the year at various colleges in the area. I hope this helps you sorhor in your job search.

Sisterly yours,

Thank you Soror for your prayers and information that you passed along to me in my time of need. I haven't thought about relocating because I don't have any family to rely on to help me in a new town. Otherwise, I probably would leave Chicago in a heartbeat. My savings and unemployment benefits will exhaust soon and I haven't found a job oppurtunity yet. I am praying that God will make a way for me soon so that I don't sink below to poverty level. All that I ask Sorors, please pray for me! Please pass on my email. I know someone will be able to help me in my continous job search.
Sisterly,
Stacye Matthews:)

That's right!

Soror Stayce, please check out what your state requires to teach secondary schools. That's how I came in. My major was not Education.
