Alpha Chi Omega at UCF
Hey everyone!
I'm an Alpha Chi from a university in Fl, and am transferring to UCF in spring of 2017. I'm aware that UCF does not currently have a chapter of Alpha Chi, however our headquarters website says there is an inactive chapter. I've read in another thread somewhere that when UCF expanded AXO accepted the expansion then withdrew because they didn't like how UCF Pan runs? I'm wondering if anyone on here knows what actually happened and during which expansion, because I know UCF has had quite a few. I have a few follow up questions also if anyone can help me! Thank you! |
I think any responses to this question would border on gossip. If your interest is sincere then your regional or national officers would be the appropriate place to start....not a public forum.

I understand, thank you. I honestly just assumed it would be a common knowledge situation, not necessarily speculation and gossip. I didn't mean to start anything! haha

Whenever a chapter closes or a colonization doesn't go thru, gossip surrounds it. It just happens.

AXO closed back in the 80s due to risk management issues. This was my understanding, but I was there nearly two decades after the chapter closed. I have not heard anything about them accepting and then pulling out of expanding at UCF. I'm pretty sure it didn't happen any time since 2000.
