Anyword on the out come of the Alfred u Zeta after the GA? Has any decision been made for the provision of the Zeta?

I hope we have the nerve to stand among men and Brothers to keep the Zeta there and to build it!

Its my understandign that the GF is generally supportive of them. They still have their charter and they are actively looking for ways to stay open and recruit without violating the GF's "were guests of the university" policy. Thats what I haerd through the grapevine tho...

The latest I heard about Alfred University was that the school threatened to expel anyone that was initiated into any greek org, and that the brothers from such an org would be expelled from college.

But we are still allowed to be there with the resent members until they left college. So basically we are there until the current bros leave and grauduate.

Talk about a bunch of shit, I thought we lived in America.

Maybe Alfred University can move to Saudi Arabia, they can cut your hands off if you misbehave there.

Doesn't that sort of violate someone's first amendment rights? Something tells me if you got a lawyer to wave that fact along with the fact that you're going to be asking for some punative damages Alfred might reconsider.

As I recall things from GA, HQ is working with the chapter (as opposed to the scenarios @ SW Missouri & NH).

FYI, the new Grand High Alpha is Ted Grossnickle (Wabash '73). From my meetings w/him he's a stand-up guy. He's even interested in hearing from us lower-echelon types on issues affecting the Fraternity as a whole. Impressive...
