Hello!

After spending quite a few hours reading these threads, and researching Beta Sigma Phi, I have decided that i would like to become a member of this wonderful sisterhood.

So today I submitted my interest form via the website. I know that there are a few chapters in my general vicinity (South Louisiana), but I'm also open to the idea of an online chapter.

I would like to thank all of you who have been so open and gracious in your posts--you certainly have presented a wonderful representation of the organization.

Now the waiting begins.

Finally an update!

After submitting my interest form months ago, life got too hectic, and Beta Sigma Phi went by the wayside. Work was taking up all my time...and then the floods came...

Well, out of the blue, about 2 weeks ago, I got a call from a lovely woman from the Preceptor Alpha Eta chapter asking if I was still interested. I told her that I was, and she invited me to join the ladies for lunch the following Sunday.

I went, and I had a wonderful time. They invited me to visit their chapter meeting, and so I went last night. I felt so completely comfortable with the ladies, and when they asked me to join them, I said yes!

I filled out my membership application, paid my dues, and I'm looking forward to a long and happy affiliation with my new sisters.

I am so happy for you!
