International Convention
 

I've just returned from Palm Springs and the 2002 International Convention. Needless to say, it was one for the ages.

I was very pleased to see several GC'ers chapters represented at the convention:

Concise and Kappa Nu, Univ. of Pacific Smythe Award
bolingbaker and Delta Lambda, FSU Smythe Award
PiKA2001 and Delta Nu, Wayne State Smythe Award
Me and Kappa Epsilon, Rockhurst Smythe Award
UF_Pike and Alpha Eta, Florida Received their Charter
Pike4Life and Eta Sigma, West Georgia Nestor Award

And probably lots of others too numerous to recall. Man I had a phenomenal time!!!

Yes, another smythe. This is our 4th one in a row I think. It actually just arrived here about 2 hours ago. Of course, we had the whole champagne thing going on. Congrats to all of the other Smythe award winners.

thanks kepike for highlighting the weekend, all of us at kappa nu are really pumped about our second consecutive smythe award. we work incredibly hard to advance the name of pi kappa alpha as much as we can and receiving the smythe makes all our efforts worthwhile. congrats to all the award winning chapters, and all chapters for that matter, we're all lucky to be a part of such an incredible organization. live it up fellas....

Congratulations All!!
 

Heard it was a great convention. Our guys said that at University of the Pacific, one out of every fourteen guys on campus is a Pike! Said the average fraternity size is about 30, and the Pikes have membership in the 90s. Incredible. Congratulations to Concise, KEPike and PiKA2001. Job well done. Congrats also to UFPike on the return of Alpha Eta's charter.
