Tattoos?

Hi!! I'm Liz and I'll be rushing at FSU next year!! Super excited but I do have a question. I have a small tattoo on my back right below where my neck ends in commemoration of my father's passing. I understand that if I had a dragon running down my arm that would definitely be frowned upon haha but advice on whether sororities might be turned off by this or not would be great! It doesn't show very often but I do want to get opinions (:

Thanks!

They most likely won't even see it, as you will be spending the majority of your time talking face to face with an active member. The chances of them seeing a small tattoo on your back are slim to none. That being said I don't think a small tattoo would be an issue anyways. Lots of girls have small tattoos on their wrists, ankles, feet, etc coming in to college, as long as it's tasteful they'll probably think nothing of it.

I agree with mizdove. I would add that it's a tattoo with great significance to you. Would you feel comfortable with a group that would reject you because of it? If tattoos come up in conversation, maybe just mention why you got it and why it's important to you. :)

you're right! Theres no reason to be around a group of girls who can't accept something like that. Thank you so much!!
