Greek life is in FULL swing this summer! I keep finding more and more people... heres my week:

Yay Greeks!

Today while on the road, I spotted a Phi Mu Alpha from my alma mater! (I knew he was from my school b/c he had a college sticker next to his PMA sticker). Hoped to catch up to him at the light, but I kept hitting greens, and then I had to turn off the street. Oh well....it was still kinda neat.

I had a kind of Greeky day too, in a way! I have a DZ sticker in the rear window of my car (it's one of those oval ones that is supposed to look like the ones they have with the European countries on them. Anyhoo...) and I was in the driveway washing it when the boy who lives two houses down drove past. He's home for the summer from Penn State. He slowed down then backed up and the conversation went something like this...

Boy: "Miss Tracy, I didn't know you used to be a DZ"
Me: "Well, I still am, I'm just an alumna"
Boy: "Does that mean you can tell the DZs in college
what to do?"
Me: "What do you mean?"
Boy: "Can you make one of the DZs at my school go out with
me?"
Me: "Is there a particular DZ you have your eye on?"
Boy: "Nah, I'd take any of them" :eek:

I thought that was kind of cute, but I said I didn't think I could help him! lol

Hey Ali; where do you work? Is it at Monroeville Mall? Or maybe I just imagined that?

I work at Kohls, its right down from the mall... why the didnt connect them is way beyond me. Its across from Monroeville Dodge... :)

Last week, I finally got my new vanity plate "DZQT"...so, about 3 dayd ago, I'm driving to work and all of a sudden this girl starts blaring her horn and waving! At first, I thought my trunk was open or something and she was trying to warn me, but then she sped up and got in front of me and her license plate said "DZ N HERE"! It was really cool!

I am home from school in Clarksville, TN; the college here, Austin Peay State Univ. does not have a DZ chapter. Anyways, I was driving down the street one day, minding my business when this Sigma Chi starts blaring his horn and waving at me...aparently he had transfered from another school that had Delta Zeta. We got to a red light and he starts yelling "DZs are hotties! Miami University! WHoo!" (Sigma Chi and DZ were founded at the same college). It certainly made my day! :)

I just got back from lunch and saw a van w/ a plate that said "NO RUSH" Now, I assume this means "don't be a hurry" (or maybe they really, really dislike the band Rush), but you all know what I thought of when I saw it...

Saw an ADPi sticker on a pick-up truck on the way to babysitting last night. Today in the HS parking lot when we were picking up my sister saw a Tri-Delta sticker along with a Wake Forest sticker too. Very pretty girl belonged to the car and sticker too! LOL :)
