Kappa Alpha Theta member's murder suspect makes FBI 10 Most Wanted List
 

The woman wanted in the murder for hire plot of Dr. Kendra Hatcher, has hit the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List today, and a $100k reward has been posted. For those who aren't familiar with the case, Kendra was a Kappa Alpha Theta alumna (Depauw University) and a pediatric dentist in Dallas. She was murdered in her parking garage in September.... Kendra's boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, Brenda Delgado, arranged for a man to shoot Kendra.

After the murder, Delgado fled the country and it is believed that she is now living in Mexico.

I followed this story but did not realize that she was a Theta.

I hope this status helps the FBI better work with the Mexican government to get Delgado back and accountable for this horrific crime.

Delgado Captured in Mexico It is infuriating that she will not face the death penalty for what she did, but hopefully she will spend the rest of her life in prison.

You can run but you can't hide, especially for $100,000.

Seems to me that plenty of people knew where she was, but chose not to turn her in until the reward was increased :mad:

Let her spend a month in a Mexican jail. Then we'll see if she wants to come back to the US.

My understanding wast that US authorities have known exactly where she was for quite some time. However, they did not have jurisdiction and the Mexican government was doing nothing to get her in custody. Getting her added to the FBI 10 Most Wanted List put pressure on the Mexican authorities and *presto* they manage to arrest her within 48 hours.

Some small justice for the family of Kendra Hatcher today. Kendra was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta from our Alpha chapter.

Brenda Delgado who hired the murderer of Kendra Hatcher has been convicted and sentenced to life in prison. (eta... without the possibility of parole)

A conspirator in the plot was sentenced to 35 years in prison some time ago. She testified against Delgado. The actual shooter has been convicted and sentenced to death.
