Looking like Eminem?
 

In the past people have told me that I look like Eminem, a rapper I can't stand. Recently its been getting bad. Last night I came up to Gainesville for one more night at Swamp, a bar where many greeks go on mondays. So this chick comes up to me while I am talking to some friends and asks me what my name is, I tell her and then she says " Did you know you look like Eminem?", by this time her friends have come up to her and she asks them the same question and they are like "OMG-he does." I'm sitting here thinking, "Damn, there goes my night." So as I try to play the situation down I ask the girls " So what sorority are you in?" ROWDYSISTER!!! ----They were Pi Phis....Just to make sure they werent lying i asked them about some girls and I threw out a few names, they were your sisters alright. So we chill for awhile and then I see these 4 chicks that I met over summer B around the 4th of July. I start talking to 2 while my boy is on the other 2. The two girls were like, "Craig, we haven't seen you in so long ( it has actually been only 3 weeks.)" So we get to talking and then they are like, " We refer to you as the hot guy when speaking of you, we think you look like Eminem." I went ape shit and was like, WTF is it with people calling me Eminem. One thing that pissed me off more was the fact that I had taken my earrings out earlier that day and people are still calling me Eminem.



What famous person do people say any of you look like?

I have no idea why, but one of our party, this one guy said I looked like Tiger Wood. I have no idea why he would think that. Granted I was wearing a Nike hat, he must've been on some kind of powerfull drugs.

When I was 18 I was told on four independent occasions that I look like Molly Ringwald circa the Breakfast Club.

The first time was right before I started college I was busing tables at this soup and salad place and this woman just announced it to me randomly.
The last was a couple of years later when I boy I was dating called me one afternoon. He said something like "We've been watching Breakfast Club this morning and you know who you look like.."

I'm really not sure how I feel about this. First of all, I have blond and usually shoulder length hair. My eyes are rounder than hers and my lips are full but not THAT full.
Guess there are worse people to be compared to...

some people say I look like the dude from Bare Naked Ladies.

A lot of people have compared me to Alicia Keys. Why? I can see it a LITTLE bit, but I have never rocked cornrows, and I don't do hats. I think maybe it is more in the mannerisms and voice (NOT singing voice, lol). When she first came out and I worked at a music store, many people would make the comparison.

During Alanis Morrisette's era of super-popularity, I was told I looked like her at least once a night when I went to clubs. I had the same hairstyle as her at the time so that must have been it. At least it was a singer I liked.

Ha ha. I can see it now, my Pi Phis throwing out comments like that in the middle of Swamp. We have a tendency to cause trouble wherever we go. It's funny you had to make sure they were legit...which Pi Phis were they? Ashlee? Kelly? Tara? Erin? I can't think of too many who are in town right now...

And don't sweat the Eminem thing. Just b/c you don't like him doesn't mean he's not a cute-looking guy. There are worse people you could look like.

Hmm, I don't think I look like anyone famous...but I'll look like *myself* once I'm famous. Sorry, bad joke.

I got the Alanis Morissette thing too, as well as Fiona Apple.

I think for me, the Alanis thing was because I have a giant nose, like she does :) That's the only way I can see it... especially considering I have short-ish, blond hair, not long dark hair, haha
