Eminem's Cleaning out My Closet
 

I really like the song but what is his beef with his mom? Or is that what he is talking about? I have looked for his website but I can't find the 411 on the song.

Supposedly there is a lot of "beef" between eminem and his mother that stems all the way back from his childhood.
Some of the things include:
His mother using drugs
His mother beating him
His mother lying about those two things
Basically a lot about his mother not helping him out much in life

The feud intensified when his mother tried to sue him for defermation of charactar/slander. It was settled out of court for a sum far less of what she wanted (less than a mil).

What made me laugh so hard is that Death Row put out their own Chronic 2000 (GARBAGE!), and had her on one of the songs in spoken word trying to explain herself, kinda like trying to apologize but still make it out to be his fault.

Exactly. I really love Eminem and they way he does stuff most artists won't do.

basically if you listen to the lyrics of the song, its him talking about a lot of the stuff that he has gone thru in the past year, and throughout his life w/his mother..he talks about when he caught his wife kissing that guy and his lawsuit with his mother..along w/the other things that blaine already said..his mom's drug addiction, the cd she made for him, how apparently his mother suffers from munchhowsens(sp??) syndrome, where she made him physically sick as a child because she thrives on the attention for it..(thats a very condensed explanation)..the song is really intense, really depressing

One of the things that bothers Eminem is that when his uncle died, that he was close to, his mom said she wished eminem died instead. :( thats sad. But basicaly that song i think is him being like thats in the past but you won't be near my daughter to screw up her life too.
