Nicknames
 

So ladies,
I was on the general message board and reading something about having nicknames given to you during pledging/after initiation. Does anyones chapter do that?

We never had any official nicknames given to us, but it seemed like a lot of us ended up with some kind of nickname...that's just what happens with best friends!! :D:D A lot of the fraternities on our campus gave nicknames though. TKE always gets pledge class t-shirts, and each person has their nickname in iorn on letters on the back. Hearing the stories behind some of the nicknames (well, at least the stories they're allowed to tell ;)) is quite funny.

we are very competitive when it comes to intramurals. so, we always get t-shirts that say "sigma kappa athletics" and on the back of the t-shirts are our number and our nick names. so mine is Queen Liz and my sister's is "big red" cuz she has red hair. stuff like that.
