i know nothing about these sororities!

Oh my gosh, I went to this thing at UA this saturday and i went to all the sorority houses. it definately convinced me too rush, but other than philanthropies i have no idea what any of these sororities are all about. i do know that some have rep's, but i just don't know which ones. also UA has fall rush so i wont have a chance to really meet any girls in the sororities, what should i do, any advice on rush or anything, tell me please!!!

CrimsonTide,
First of all, when you spoke of "rep's", were you talking about reputation? If that's the case, when rushing sororities, keep an open mind.

Attending their events is a good chance to learn more about these organizations and to get to know "what they're all about".

I know this response seems vague, but please go and visit Barb's (PnguinTrax) informational Recruitment FAQ. She provides a great deal of information regarding NPC recruitment. I'm going to assume that most (if not all) NPC sororities at UA have websites, and usually they have contact information on those pages. Perhaps those will be more helpful.

Im glad you are deciding to go greek!! I was in the same boat with you a few years back...i wanted the scoop on the sororities that were on the campus I intended to join. I got a lot of great feed back plus the NUmber one rule" KEEP AN OPEN MIND!!!! Dont go die-hard Alpha Beta Sorority just because your friend is or because some guy told you they are the best. Each sorority is unique and personal...you will find the one that fits you through rush!!
