I am truly sorry to hear about a lose within the greek community and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. My condolences to the Cody family and members of DST.

My prayers are with you ladies. Last week we buried a brother who was killed in an auto accident. He was 22. It was the second time we have had to bury an undergrad brother in the last three years. I honestly think standing over the grave of a dead brother/sister is the worst experience ever. I came across this quote the day after we buried him. Hopefully it will help comfort you all.

"Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live life so that when you die...you are the one smiling and everyone around you is crying."

I think that your sister lived her life that way. I know my brother did.

My condolences to the Cody family and the members of DST. Have there been any leads from the investigation. This is an unfortunate situation.

Condolences on the loss of such a beautiful and very accomplished young lady.
On January 19, we lost one of our pledges at a fraternity mixer while she was leaving to get into her car. Malisa was hit by a hit and run driver.
It is my belief that Malisa is waiting in heaven for Caroline. Death may come in a surprising way, but never let it overshadow the beauty of a person's life, or the impact that she has had on so many people.
"I am continually with you, you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me with honor. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever...For me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge." Psalm 73:23-28
