Are you childish?
 

Obviously, I've had a lot of time on my hands and I have been glued to Greekchat!! So I just thought of something, what are the traits/characteristics that you have that are childlike? (good and not so good)

I'll go first: I am usually understanding of people who are different than me, I enjoy the simple things in life- playing on a swingset, coloring, baking cookies, or just talking to an old friend, I am impaitent and sometimes I just want throw myself on the ground and howl when things don't go my way, I love sleepovers, I can not sleep in total darkness, scary movies frighten me, I think my personality has pretty much stayed the same throughout the years, I enjoy playing with dolls with the young girls I babysit for, I love playing dress up, I still believe that some boys will always have cooties (just kidding), the sound of the ice cream truck immediately lifts my spirits, I dislike school- I really only go to see my friends, and I still look at many aspects of the world with the innocence of a child, I turn to my parents to fix things and make them better. I can't really think of anything else...

I have to agree that alot of the times i have the characteristics of a child ...
i LOVE icecream...(icecream trucks also make me happy dont hear them in the dorms only when i go back home)
i find happiness in going to toys r us and walking around playing with stuff...
at resturants (yes even dates) i find myself compelled to color with the free crayons on the kids menus (not ALL resturants just the ones that have them)
i have a HUGE barbie collection that grew from my many dolls as a girl..
i can have just as much fun coloring with a bunch of 6 year olds that i do hanging with the girls on a saturday night
i LOVE cartoons
harry potter is one of my favorite books...ive read all of them 2wice seen the movie a million times and even have been sorted online into a hogwarts house...lol (can anyone say addicted??)
me and my two little sisters (real ones) get along great cause i talk to them on their level...
i love to be carefree and have fun even if it means being silly and spontaneous
i work at Baby/Kids Gap and i love talking to all the kids that come in..parents love it cause i keep their kids entertained help them and allow them to shop in peace.. :)

as much as it sounds like im a lil kid...youd be surprised how much the "lil girl" image appeals to alot of guys...majority of the ones ive dated like the fact that im carefree and go with the flow of things...doing things like going toy shopping is not something alot of girls like to do..but some guys find it fun and different :D

A lot of times I feel like I take things to seriously and act like a parent waaayy too often, and then every so often I happily do something to remind myself that I'm still somewhat immature and a kid at heart!

I'm going to be worried when the day comes that I "grow up!"

Funny, everyone thinks that by the way i view the world, I'm WAY too cynical for my age (being 19), but I act like I'm 12 years old a lot, so I'm either WAY too mature or WAY too immature.

I love dogs. Shiny things fascinate me. I get caught up in the moment. My favorite food is baked potatoes. My dad makes me feel safe. I made my mom come with me to a really scary doctor's appointment. I love holding hands. I squealed last time I saw a rainbow. I love the snow. I love swingsets.

I like to think I'm a kid at heart, and since I'm going to be an elementary school teacher, it pays off!

I love playgrounds, and especially the swings. But just like when I was a kid, I refuse to jump off because I'm scared I'll break my leg.

I'm always excited to get mail, even if it's junk mail.

I LOVE kids books. There's just something about the Berenstein Bears and Madeline that makes me happy!

I like to play in the rain. As long as it's not too cold!

I still like to get those cheesy prizes at arcades..Like the neon green plastic ring that I'll never wear!

I vascilate between being a total kid and being totally cynical. However, I always possess an undying love for Hello Kitty. And I sleep with my teddy bear every night. I find the Teletubbies soothing, not annoying. Coloring is fun :)

Even when I'm feeling my most cynical, those things hold true for me :)
