Indiana University Rush Rules - 1936

I found this via the IU Archives Twitter account: the rules for sorority rush at IU circa 1936. How times change!

Thanks .. ..that was very interesting!

Was Sigma Phi Upsilon a local at Indiana? I've never heard of that sorority before.

What do you suppose was the quota number that year?

I'm also amused by how similar some things are! Binding agreement, limit on what chapters can spend during recruitment, the blurbs about each sorority, etc.

How many chapters are still located in the same place today?

Theta, Kappa, Delta Gamma, Pi Phi and Tri Delta are still located where they were then.
