Hawaii 5-0 and Lambda Chi
 

I was reading chantillylace55's post about magic carpet ride, and it reminded me of the Hawaii 5-0 song.. the Lambda Chi's here get kinda crazy when they hear that song.. they get a chair and proceed to "chair surf" in a circle until the song is over.

Is this an international thing? or is our chapter here just special ? :p

I've never seen that, but it sounds like a hoot to watch. :cool:

Oh yes it is.. I have pictures of the guys performing their "chair surfing" at the last white rose party...

I was initiated there in Kingsville WAY back in the day and I miss the hawaii 5-0 song. It was a riot. I think it is unique to k-ville, and is perfromed after the consumption of mucho alcohol. lol

yea that could be it lifesaver. are you going back for homecoming? i know the guys there would love to have you over - they are a great bunch!

Dunno. I was there either this spring or last fall for ritual... I dont remember, but it was my first time back in about 6 years and it was really good to see the house and everyone. When is it? I just might make the trip down. Could use some "Front porch time"

I believe Homecoming around there is Oct. 26 this year. My boyfriend & I are going to try our best to make it there this year(he's a LambdaChi from that chapter and just recently graduated)
