I'm new
 

I'm a 1996 initiate of the Chi Chapter at the University of Kansas. I graduated in December 2000 and am now active with the alumnae association out here in Northern Virginia.

Your lj post got me to join. I only hope that with my short attention span I can keep active on here and not forget about it!

Cute nickname, btw. I couldn't think of anything clever, so I went with an old standby. :)

I suppose I could introduce myself to the others here. I'm an alumna of Beta Chapter at Iowa Wesleyan College, initiated in spring of '01. I'm transferring to Iowa State for my fifth year of college in the fall, and am still up in the air as to whether I will affilliate with Epsilon Phi chapter there. I really want to, but I'm not sure if my work and school requirements are too compatible with house living, so we'll see. I'm engaged to a great guy I met at IWC, and we are going to start planning our wedding for next fall as soon as he starts his new job and we get settled back near my hometown in the coming month, and figure out exactly what the heck is going on! I was MVP, Song Leader, Ritual Chair, and Panhellenic Delegate in my previous chapter.

Oh, and if any of you are on LiveJournal, I created a journal for AXiDs to post about whatever. It's been pretty inactive lately, and we don't have a lot of members, so check it out sometime and join in. The address is http://www.livejournal.com/community/alphaxidelta if you are interested. Yeah, I actually have been AZDebba on aol since what, freshman year of college? I think... So I kind of used that :) Anyhoo.... Welcome :)
Did you see the thread about National Geographic? It's about the Iowa State chapter.

Actually, i just saw that last night. I'm going to stop down at the library this afternoon and check out the magazine. I hadn't heard about it before! Sounds cool, though.
