Before you graduate you should....
Hey everyone...
I'm graduating in December and it's FINALLY my last semester! I just want to know what everyone should do before you finish school.........I want to make sure that I finish college with a blast! |
Sex in the stacks.
|
Go to some classes.
Everybody does that sex in the stacks thing. |
uh.... "sex in the stacks"
what is that? sorry if i am a bone head! like sex in the HAYstacks or something. sounds itchy. |
Sex in the Stacks = Sex in the Library

Get ridiculously intoxicated on consecutive weekdays. What's considered a legendary week in college is considered alcoholism when you join the work force.
Personally thank all the proffs that had an impact on your life thus far, whose classes truly taught you something. Take a road trip to another school. Pull an allnighter at the library complete with slap happy delerium with friends, snipering in starbucks and forging new friendships with the people the table down through academic solidarity. Spend every free moment with friends...lord knows where you will end up after graduation day. Perhaps make an official pact to keep in touch with those you love. Lay in the quad at 3 am with your grandest of friends and conjecture eachother's futures. Ask that girl that always sits on the fourth seat in, back row out for a drink. Hit up all your favorite hang outs one last time. Go get student discounts on everything you possibly can...movies, amusement parks, free dessert at a local restaurant. Eat on campus on a freshman's mealpoints. |
Enjoy every last minute. You'll miss these days after a few months in the "real world." I know I miss those carefree days spent with my sisters in the house just goofing off. I wish I had enjoyed it more instead of trying so desperately to get through with school and taking everything so seriously.
You know what I would do? Keep a journal of your last semester in college. Then you'll be able to go back and re-live it. :) |
Visit any cool places around campus that you've never been to.

As for my advice to graduates, I would say the most important thing is to spend as much time as possible with your friends, because chances are that it'll be awhile before you're all together again. Also, let them know how much you appreciate them and everything they've done for you. You're allowed to be as sappy as you want to be during the last few months of college, and everyone will understand. |
Do all of the things in your college town that students normally wouldn't do. In other words, be a tourist.
Get all your letters of recommendation from professors in order. Have fun! :D |
